CAESAR, Bob Caesar

With sadness, we announce the passing of Robert Thomas Nelson Caesar of Clifford, peacefully at Caressant Care, Harriston, on Saturday, September 13, 2025, in his 89th year.
Loving husband of Karen Caesar.
Father of John & Jan Caesar, Mark & Michelle Caesar, Leigh & Brad Martin, Katie Caesar, and Jake & Nicole Caesar.
Grandfather of Luke & Patricia, Jenna & Lewis, Madeleine, Nathan, Ellie, Bo, and Luke, and great-grandfather of Wade, Sawyer, Mya, Hayes, Clay, and Rowen.
Brother-in-law of Brian and Sheila English, Kathy Scott, and Kaylene Mitchell.
Predeceased by his brother John Caesar, his brother in infancy, his grandson in infancy, parents John & Ada (Reid) Caesar, and by Karen’s parents Harvey & Genie English
After Bob’s career of 30+ years in the trades, he served our community as Reeve of Carrick Twp (just before amalgamation) and went on to Chair the Bruce Grey District Health Council.

All through Bob’s youth, work life, and retirement years, his hobbies were close by; show chickens, roller pigeons, the odd horse, pony or miniature, and above all else, his dogs – hounds, beagles, and border collies, with maybe a German short haired pointer or lab in the mix. Outdoors was where Bob loved to be, and always with his animals.
Any short vacation would most likely involve picking up a dog, dropping off some rollers or going to a poultry show. Bob was a homebody, so vacations were few. He enjoyed his home, his family, and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Caressant Care, Harriston, for the compassionate care provided to Dad during his stay.
A Celebration of Bob’s life will be held at the Clifford Community Hall on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. with words of remembrance at 2:30 p.m.
Private family interment in Clifford Cemetery.
Memorial donations to charity of your choice or to the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters Association would be appreciated and may be made through the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston.
