CAMMARA, Alexander Nicholas Cammara

With deepest sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Alexander Nicholas Cammara, who left us far too soon. Born on May 25, 2001, to loving parents Anica and Paul, Alex entered our lives as a radiant light – an irreplaceable gift who brought warmth, laughter, and boundless love into our hearts.

From his earliest days, Alex embodied the very meaning of his name: Alexander – “helper of mankind”. That was who he truly was. He had a heart that reached out to others, always putting their needs ahead of his own. A lover of nature and the simple, grounding joys of life, Alex found peace in long walks, the stillness of the forest, nature, animals, time spent fishing with his Dad, skiing down quiet slopes, swimming, and caring for his cherished dogs.

His creativity was boundless – expressed through art, music, and the skilled hands that brought imagination to life in everything he built and created. He pursued his studies at the University of Guelph-Humber, with hopes of making a difference in law enforcement and criminal logistics. Everywhere he went, he inspired those around him with his trust, kindness, and the quiet depth of his soul.

Losing his father three years ago left a wound that never truly healed. Despite the unwavering love and support from his mother Anica, his grandparents, and extended family, Alex struggled to find his way back to peace. His world grew quieter, and though he continued to give so much love, he carried a heavy burden of pain and loneliness.

Alex was an old soul – a gentle spirit with a depth far beyond his years. He was loved deeply, respected wholly, and cherished by all who had the gift of knowing him. As we say goodbye to our beautiful son, we take comfort in imagining him reunited with his father, at peace, surrounded by light, and free of the struggles he bore so quietly.

May Alex look down upon us now with the same love he gave so freely, guiding us with his soul and reminding us to find beauty in the little things, as he always did.

The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street South (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Thursday evening, June 26 from 5 o’clock until time of memorial service in the chapel at 6:30 o’clock, followed by a service of healing at 7 o’clock.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Alex’s memory may be made to Kids Help Phone (www.kidshelpphone.ca), Caledon/Dufferin Victim Services (www.cdvs.ca), or The Vitanova Foundation (www.vitanova.ca) – organizations that reflect the compassion and care that defined his life.

Memories and notes of condolence may be shared at Egan Funeral Home.

Rest in peace and joy, our beloved Alex. You will live forever in our hearts.
