CHEVERS, Ann Chevers
February 10, 1947 - March 22, 2026Peacefully at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Sunday, March 22, 2026 Ann Elizabeth Chevers (nee Wade) of Tillsonburg passed away at the age of 79 years, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her loving husband of over 52 years,Michael (2020).
Loving and supportive mother to Michael Wade (Lisa), Jeffrey John (Lisa), and Jacqueline Marie (Gerry) Coderre. Proud and doting grandmother to Michael Clare, Sarah Nicole Helen, Kristen Marie, Emma Marie, Jaslyn Elizabeth, and Harley Jean Marie. Sister to Gord (Judy) Wade, and Jack (Debbie) Wade. Sister-in-law to James (Judy) Chevers. Auntie Ann to several special nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Walter and Jean Wade (nee McNally), father and mother-in-law Norman and Lois Chevers, and brother-in-law Rick Chevers.
Ann Chevers her career as an elementary school teacher in Kitchener-Waterloo before transitioning to office administration, and later an assistant to the Chief of Tillsonburg Police Services. Ann was instrumental in the transition to the Oxford OPP. Ann would later retire from her position as an assistant to the Detachment Commander of the OPP.
Friends and relatives will be received at Ostranderβs Funeral Home Limited, 43 Bidwell Street Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 2:00-4:00pm and from 6:00-8:00 pm
The family will be hosting a memorial service for Ann at St. Johnβs Anglican Church, 46 Ridout St. W., Tillsonburg on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 3:00 pm. A private family interment will be held at Tillsonburg Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations to St. Johnβs Anglican Church, may be done by cheque, by contacting Ostranderβs Funeral Home, who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
