Passed away peacefully, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa with family by his side, on Friday May 23, 2025, in his 84th year.
Beloved husband of Beverly (nee Tompkins) for 65 years. Loving dad of Sherry (Allan), Terry (Theresa), Kim (Tim), Todd (Debbie) and Bill. Cherished Grandpa/Papa to 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Wilmer and Edna, and siblings Doris, Viola and Erwin. Bill will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Bill founded Bill Clarke Plumbing in 1979, he worked in the business until his retirement in 2011. Bill coached baseball and hockey for Woodview park for 18 years. He spent many days on the golf course marshalling and playing at Golfer’s Dream and enjoyed time cruising in his ’57 Chevy. Bill cherished his time at the cottage creating family memories with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West on Tuesday May 27th, from 11:30 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment Thornton Cemetery.
