COCHRANE, Owen William James Cochrane

Peacefully, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Thursday, July 9, 2026, Owen William James Cochrane, of Tillsonburg passed away at the age of 92 years. Beloved husband and best friend for 55 years to Faye (August). Dear brother of Ronald Cochrane. Owen is also survived by his best friend Ted Chivers (Laurel) and brother-in-law of Glen August (Eileen), Barry August, Darlene Kalincak, Margaret Leather (Jay) and Virginia August (Mark). Owen will also be missed by his furry little buddy, Pepper. Predeceased by his parents James and Mary (McConnell) Cochrane, step-father Clifford Thompson, sister Mary Hughes (Bob), sisters-in-law Lola Cochrane, Judy Peters and brother-in-law Richard August (Bev).

In keeping with Owen’s wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will have a Private Liturgical Service at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, Tillsonburg. Memorial donations to the Helping Hand Food Bank, Tillsonburg would be appreciated. The Cochrane family would like to send a special thank you to the First Floor South and Second Floor North Nursing Staff as well as Dr. Dunlop and Dr. Weiss. Your compassionate care will never be forgotten.
