COE, Ronald L Coe

It is with profound sadness and much love that we announce the passing of Ronald Coe at the age of 82.

Surrounded by the warmth of his loving family, Ron departed on July 16, 2026 at Oak Ridges Hospice, to be reunited with his late wife, Janine.

He leaves behind a legacy of integrity, service and quiet strength, having proudly served several communities as a Police Officer with the Ontario Provincial Police for over 30 years. Beyond his dedicated career in policing, he was a man who treasured simple joys and quality time with those he held dear. He was a cherished friend, a steadfast brother, and a man whose presence made the world feel safer and brighter. With a ready smile, wise piece of advice, and sometimes a comforting hug- his kindness knew no bounds.

Ronald L Coe was pre deceased by his parents Grant and Jane, and his siblings Richard, Marjorie, James,

George and Dale. Survived by Roy (Bev), Anne (Robert), Barbara, and Sharon. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held in September. If desired, memorial donations in Ron’s memory may be made to the Humane Society of Durham Region or Sick Kid’s Hospital.

A special thank you to all the PSW’s, nurses, doctors, and staff at the Bowmanville Hospital, Ajax Hospital, Sunnybrook Hospital, and Oak Ridges Hospice, as well as everyone who cared for him at home.
