It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Dennis Robert Cormell. He passed away peacefully with his daughter by his side at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital on May 15th, 2025 at the age of 92.
He leaves behind his sons Karl(Mary) Gary and daughter Denise(John). Remembered by his grandchildren Jillian, Jaden and Declyn. Great grandfather to Tatianna, Mia, Brooklyn and Autumn. His brother Paul and sister-in-law Margaret. Nephew Anthony(Crystal), niece Samantha(Kurt) and great nieces and nephews Cassie, Johnathan, Connor and Hannah. Also his many nieces and nephews and extended family in England.
Dennis is pre-deceased by his parents William and Phyllis, wife Sylvia, son Richard, his brothers Reg, Ron, Ray, Alfred, Kenneth and his sisters Irene and Julie.
He will be fondly remembered as a great story teller,
for his quick wit, and his ability to land a joke.
We would also like to thank the Drs. and nurses at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital for their wonderful care and support.
