She was predeceased by her loving husband, Richard Craggs, by her parents Emily and Robert McDonald and brother, Robert (Joy) McDonald.
She was the beloved mother of Richard (Caryn) and Steven (Nancy), and cherished grandmother of Mitchell, Caitlyn (Matthew), Brandon (Jill), and Jacob; great grandmother of Charlotte, Jensen, Kingsley, and Bohdy.
A visitation for Betty will be held Monday, September 29, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West, Oshawa, ON L1J2L4. A funeral service will occur Monday, September 29, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM, 847 King Street West, Oshawa, ON L1J2L4. A committal service will occur Monday, following the funeral service, at Ebenezer Cemetery, 1669 Courtice Rd, Courtice, ON L1E 2M9. A reception will occur Monday, September 29, 2025 following the committal service, at Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West, Oshawa, ON L1J2L4.
