Bonnie Jean Desbiens

December 16, 1952 – February 15, 2025

In Loving Memory of Bonnie, who passed away on Saturday, February 15th, 2025, at the age of 72. She had family with her and her daughter holding her hand until her last heartbeat.

She was a devoted mother to Jacquie (Shane), Kelly (Paul), Casey, and the late Joey. A beloved ‘Nanny’ to Jean-Luc, Courtney, Joey, Julissa, Victoria, Taylor, Kory, Keenan and Kayden. She was also a proud great-grandmother to many, a dear sister to Diane and Jim, and the cherished daughter of the late Gwendoline and Wilfred.

She will always be remembered for her infectious laughter, sharp sense of humor, and her generous kind heart. She possessed remarkable strength and resilience, tackling life’s challenges with unwavering courage. Bonnie’s love for animals, her passion for crafting and her desire to help others were at the core of who she was.

She had a unique gift of making friends wherever she went, leaving behind a network of cherished relationships. Her positivity and zest for life left a mark on all who knew her, creating a legacy of her kindness, humour, and creativity.

We are deeply grateful to Bonnie’s friends and neighbors for their kindness and support during her times of need. A special heartfelt thank you to Kelly—she was not only her daughter but also her caregiver and very best friend. A warm thank you to the healthcare team for treating Bonnie with compassion and understanding, creating a comforting and supportive environment.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, with details to be announced.
