DESROCHES, Daniel Raymond Desroches

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Daniel Desroches. He will be lovingly remembered, cherished and greatly missed by his wife and soul mate of 30 years, Lucy, and his sons, Joshua and Matthew, the loves of his life.

Daniel was predeceased by his father Raymond. He will be dearly missed by his mother Ingrid and his step-mother Holly, his sisters Ramona (Stan) and Marissa (Andrew), his sister-in-law Gina (Sebastian) and brother-in-law Marco. He will always be fondly remembered by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Concetta and Ernesto Sacco, his nieces Melissa, Patricia (Maxwell) and Alora, and his nephews Conrad (Cassy), Santo and Logan, all his extended family and the many friends he made during his short life. He will also be missed by his furry family member Milo.

Daniel built his life around love and family loyalty – a true family man who would do anything for his family and showed that commitment every day. He was proud of his boys and all their accomplishments and talked about them at every chance he got and being a dad was his favourite job.

He was hardworking, well respected by his colleagues, outgoing and genuinely kind, always willing to help or brighten someone’s day. Anyone who met him and got to know him can attest to his beautiful personality, caring ways and great sense of humour. He loved the outdoors and shared those moments with his boys at every opportunity.

We share in the mourning of this wonderful man. His legacy lives on with his beautiful sons. We will cherish the moments we lived together and the memories we made during our family gatherings and vacations. Thank you for giving us your unconditional love. You will always be our dad and we will hold you dearly in our hearts. Until we meet again … then, we will say “where were we …” Love you.
