He will be fondly remembered by his brothers, Marty Dixon and Don Dixon, and will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends. Jim was known for his generous spirit, quick wit, and the genuine connections he made with those around him.
Jim found peace and joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially time spent with loved ones at “Far from it All,” the family cottage where countless special memories were created. A private family celebration of Jim’s life will be held there this summer.
Rested at the Wagg Funeral Home, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or a charity of your choice.
