Doherty, Daniel Raymond “Dan” – Passed away at the age of 73, at Grand River Hospital on Sunday, June 29, 2025. It is with heavy hearts we mourn the loss of a loving husband of 47 years to Judy Doherty, father of Blair (Maggie), Taylor (Jolene), Jay (Kayla), and Lee (Sara), and grandfather of Lennon (Lee), Annalyse (Jay), and Kayla.

After years of battling various types of cancers, Dan now rests peacefully with no pain. A salesman for 50 years, Dan’s presence was immediately felt entering any room. From humble beginnings in Northern Ontario, Dan saw to it that his cherished family experienced all that life has to offer.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the entire team at Grand River Hospital for their incredible care.

Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St. N., Cambridge, where family and friends will be received on Wednesday July 2, 2025, from 2–4 p.m. & 7–9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Clement’s R.C. Church, 745 Duke St. Cambridge, on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
