DONEY, Bruce Donald Harvey Doney

It is with sadness that the family of Bruce Doney announces his death on July 5th , 2026 in Ajax Ontario in his 91st year. He was the beloved husband of Eleanor (McCalden) Doney (predeceased), loving father of Jeff (Darlene) Doney and Judy (Peter) Kirwin, grandfather of Matthew (Natasha) Doney, Leah (Brandon) Haskell and Kevin (Kayla) Price, great-grandfather of Aiden and Kyla Doney and Alden, Eleanor and Josie Price, brother of Margaret (Jim) Wallace and Jean (Jim) Hatton.

Bruce Donald Harvey Doney was a Toronto Bible College graduate, employee of Eaton’s, Relief Coordinator at World Vision, Director of the Christian Distress Clinic and volunteered for many years at Hearth Place Cancer Support Center in Oshawa. Bruce’s life reflected his Christian faith and his legacy is one of gratitude for a long, blessed life and for the many opportunities through the years to experience God’s love and share it with others.

There will be a private family graveside internment service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 18th. Afterwards, friends are welcome to join the family at 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. for a light reception at St. Paul’s on the Hill Anglican Church, 882 Kingston Road, Pickering. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in honour of Bruce Doney may be made to Salvation Army or YWAM Canada (designation: HC17).
