Passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025, at Thorntonview Long Term Care, at the age of 83.
Born on June 20, 1942, Ina was the beloved daughter of the late Arthur and Meta Clara Read. She was a devoted mother to Neil Dudley, cherished sister to Clayton and the late Lynne, and dear sister-in-law to Darlene.
Ina Beryl will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, lifelong friends, and nursing peers who were touched by her kindness, strength, and gentle spirit.
Ina Beryl trained and worked as a nurse, a calling she pursued with passion and compassion. Though her career was sadly cut short due to MS, she remained an inspiration to all who knew her, facing life’s challenges with grace and resilience.
A funeral service to celebrate Ina’s life will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division Street, Bowmanville. Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by the service at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the MS Society in memory of Ina Beryl.
