DUNCAN, Paul George Duncan
December 15, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we share with you the passing of our beloved brother Paul Duncan on December 15, 2025, at the Niagara Falls General Hospital at the age of 71.
Paul was a self-starter whose life was marked by inner strength, quiet determination, creativity and a deep love for nature. He was extremely gifted at turning his visions into reality, through hard work and perseverance. This included photography; breeding and training horses and dogs; developing a sawmill; and learning the skilled craft of cabinet making. He took pride in building things with his hands and seeing projects successfully through. In his early years, his adventurous spirit led him to become a professional motocross racer, and he later mentored others to develop their skills.
Paul found contentment in nature, his animals, time with family and the simple rhythms of daily life. He had an inner faith, and while he will be deeply missed, his family takes comfort in knowing he is at peace in his heavenly eternal home with God, reunited with his parents and younger brother.
Paul is survived by his sisters, Georgia Linney (Barry); Patty Cianfagna (Frank); and by his nieces and nephews Emily Linney; Sean Linney (Kris); April McKay (Kraig); Alex Cianfagna (Emily and Camila). who will remember him with gratitude and love in their hearts. He is predeceased by his parents Margaret and George Duncan, and younger brother Scott Duncan.
In keeping with Paul’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private celebration of Paul’s life will be held with immediate family, honoring his memory in a way that reflects the quiet, meaningful life he lived.
The family invites you to honor Paul’s memory in simple ways: take a loved one out for a coffee, tell someone what you appreciate about them, or pause to reflect on God’s gift of life, love and what truly matters. For those of you that wish, a memorial donation can be made in Paul’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society. Memories, photos and condolences may be shared at www.morseandson.com
