ECKERT, Garry William Eckert

Passed away on May 27, 2026 at Alexander Place Long Term Care in Waterdown. Beloved Husband to the late Mary Ann (2023) for 52 years. Garry was a dedicated member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, and enjoyed serving with the Knights of Columbus for several years.

Garry William Eckert will be missed and fondly remembered by his family, friends and neighbours as someone who gave his time, talents and friendship to many.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at ST. THOMAS THE APOSTLE CHURCH (715 Centre Rd., Waterdown) from 9 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to follow beginning at 10 a.m. Interment to take place at St. Thomas Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
