Passed away peacefully at Centennial Place on July 10, 2025 at the age of 95, with family at her side. Willie was a life-long volunteer in the community.
Beloved wife of 41 years to the late Henry Eeuwes (1994). Loving mother to Frank (Arlene), Mike, Paul (Leah), Gary (Joanne), Yolanda (Wayne) and Brian, her late son-in-law. Cherished grandmother to Jason, Jolene, Henry, Luke, Rachel, Janelle, Kaitlyn, Nicole, Brandon and Dustin, and 11 adored great grandchildren. Willie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all her family and friends here, and in the Netherlands.
A special thanks to the staff at Centennial Place and Seasons Retirement Home for their loving care in Willie’s final years.
Visitation will take place on Monday, July 14, 2025 from 6-8pm at
Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home,
in Bowmanville.
The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 11am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church located at 214 King Avenue East in Newcastle.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Bowmanville Hospital Foundation are greatly appreciated.
