With much sadness and surrounded by love, Ken passed peacefully in the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Friday, July 31, 2026.
Loved husband of Mary-Ann (nee Autayo) for over 40 years. Dear father to Scott (Jen) and Sandy (Nikki) of Alberta, and grandchildren also of Alberta. Special uncle to Sean Plunkett (Dale). Predeceased by his parents Frank and Edna (Thompson) Essex, and his sister Sylvia Plunkett and brother-in-law Barrie Plunkett.
Ken Essex is missed by his affectionate dog Kaiti, many long life friends and good neighbours, (especially Todd Nolan).
If desired, donations may be made to Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind, or a charity of your choice.
Professional Services have been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville and a private family service will be held at Rosebank Cemetery.
