HARTWICK, Charles William Hartwick

Passed away peacefully in his home at Valley Manor surrounded by the love of his family at the age of 87.

He was the son of Ernest and Annie (Schleen) Hartwick. Charlie was predeceased by his brothers Ivan (Martha), Willard (Shirley), Donald (Gloria) and Roy; his sister Dorian Hein (Gilbert); his sister-in-law Elizabeth; and his brothers-in-law Merville Kuehl and Raymond Kasobuski.

He is survived by his sisters Marcella Kuehl and Rita Kasobuski; his brothers Orville (Gail), Garry (Shirley), Terry (Margaret); and his sister-in-law Gladys.

Charles William Hartwick found great joy in gardening and was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever he could. He loved sharing the harvest from his garden and was generous in every aspect of his life, giving to others without expecting anything in return. He treasured the time he spent with his nieces and nephews, creating memories they will always cherish.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Valley Manor for the kindness and care they provided to Charlie.

Friends and family are welcome to gather at Zohr Family Funeral Home, Killaloe on Friday, August 7, 2026 for visitation from 9:00am until 10:30am.
