FAULKNER, James Lester Faulkner

With heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of James Lester Faulkner, affectionately known as Jim, Dad or Papa. Jim passed away May 9th, 2026. He was born on October 17, 1954 in Toronto, Ontario to the late Pursel and Mildred (nee Power) Faulkner.

Jim was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle to a large immediate family; including daughters Sasha Faulkner (Derrick Trahan), Amy Faulkner (Warren Wright), Jamie-Ann Faulkner (Paul Fonte). Former husband to Ann Faulkner. Cherished Grandfather to Cameron Trahan, Brooklin Trahan, Nathaniel Franco, Sebastian Franco, Ben Fonte and Nicholas Fonte.

Brother to Betty Wend (late Klaus Wend), late Kenneth Faulkner, Robert Faulkner (Christine Faulkner).

Uncle to Christopher Wend (Lillian), Jacob Faulkner, and Micheal Faulkner.

Jim also had many cherished friends and co-workers.

Jim was kind hearted, fun loving, positive, generous, and extremely smart and witty. He was a very funny person who loved spending time above anything else with his family. Jim always enjoyed being in Nova Scotia (his 2nd home), Hockey (especially the Montreal Canadians -HABS) and doing taxes of all things! These are only a few of the many things Jim enjoyed.

We will miss him forever with all our hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Summer of 2026 in Five Islands, Nova Scotia; where he will remain with his late Mother, Father and Brother.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 14 from 5pm-9pm at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home (53 Division St. Bowmanville, ON L1C 2Z8).
