FLACZYNSKI JR., Walter “Wally” Flaczynski Jr.

Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on April 13th, 2026, at the age of 63. Wally is survived by his sisters Elizabeth and Julie, his nieces Anna and Sonia, and cousin Beata. He was predeceased by his parents, Walter (Wladyslaw) Sr. and Jessie (Zdzislawa). He will be lovingly remembered by extended family and many friends. He loved to work on his cars, both model and real ones, and was always tinkering with some sort of new tech or toy. A lifelong science fiction fan and big Trekkie, we are reminded that there are “No goodbyes – just good memories”.

A visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave (between Mohawk & Fennell) on Friday May 8th, 2026 from 5-8 pm. Interment at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
