“Billy” William Cornelius Flegg passed peacefully at Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025, at the age of 67, after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Bill was a devoted brother to Gerry and Ted, a loving father to Morgan, Amy, and Chris, and a guiding presence to Lindsey. He was a proud grandfather to eight amazing grandchildren and a beloved companion to his loyal service dog, Miracle.
A master of trades, Bill dedicated his life to building—whether it was fire trucks, wooden cartoon characters, BBQs, or just about anything else. He brought creativity and passion to every project.
Known for his wicked sense of humour, sharp wit, and love of Captain Morgan and Caesars, Bill brightened every room he entered. He kept his circle close, especially his dear friends Steve, Nick, and Norm, and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Basic Funerals. At this time, no public service details have been released.
