Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on November 2, 2025 at WRH, Met. Campus, at the age of 96. Reunited with her first husband, Antoni Wierciszewski, and second husband Jan Florczyk. Loving mother to Halina Rutkowska and her late husband Josef of Poland, Jan Wierciszewski and late wife Kamilla of Windsor, late Jerzy Wierciszewski and surviving wife Regina of Poland, and late Elizabeth Yeryk and late husband Robert of Windsor. Cherished Babcia to Krzyszof, Jolanta, Antoni, Pamela, Adam, Pavel, Anina, Belinda, and Amalinda. Great-Babcia to Jessica and Huber, and Great-Great Babcia to Gabrisa. Predeceased by her sister Helena Kuszej of Poland. Lucyna was a member of Holy Trinity Polish Church for many years. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Central Chapel), 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519) 253-7234 on Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Parish prayers at 8:00 p.m. Funeral service on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 12:15 p.m. from the funeral home then in procession to Holy Trinity Polish Church (1035 Ellis St. E.) for Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
