It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Renato Francesconi, who passed away peacefully on April 29, 2026, at the age of 93.

Married for 68 years, he was a beloved husband to Mercedes (Marsha). A cherished father to Michael (Ellen) and Cristina. Beloved Nonno to Andrew and Olivia (Jonathan). Brother to Giacomo (deceased), Gianni (deceased), Silvano and Antonietta. Survived by many nieces and nephews.

Born on November 28, 1932, in Spilimbergo, Italy.  He later came to Toronto in 1956 to begin a new chapter in life. A mechanic by trade, he was known for his hard work, dedication and quiet strength. Renato was devoted to his family, especially his grandchildren. He made sure every day was filled with love and laughter. Those who knew him will remember his love of playing cards, watching soccer and tending to his garden.

Renato Francesconi will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of family and friends forever.
