Died peacefully on Monday October 6, 2025 at age 78. He is survived by his wife Glenda, son Stefan

and two older siblings. He was predeceased by his parents who lived in Trinidad. Anton was a Cost Accountant in

the Parts Department of Volkswagen Canada for many years.

Anton was an avid outdoorsman enjoying camping, fishing and hunting. He loved cooking and was happy to have

people enjoy his corn soup, curry duck, pelau and other dishes. Many would recall the cook-ups he made at the

Mas Camp. In June 2002 he was proud to win his first Curry Duck Competition with cooking partner Sally Mohammed

at the Base Entertainment Complex in Etobicoke.

He was very involved in many activities of Caribana. Anton had many interests and pursued them to perfection,

acquiring the machines and materials to make Carnival boots for masqueraders. A Mas Museum was created by him

to house the many donated Mas costumes, his collection of books, news articles and artifacts pertaining to Trinidad

and its culture.

Anton was very much a self-made man and lived by his own terms. He was a very dear friend to many near and far.

May Anton Rest in Eternal Peace and may perpetual light shine upon him.
