GAUDREAULT, Lenore Ina Gaudreault
January 11, 1951 - April 16, 2026It is with great sadness that the family of Lenore Ritchie Gaudreault, announces that Lenore passed away following lengthy illness, with her husband Marc-Andre by her side on Thursday April 16, 2026.
Born in Port Arthur, Ontario, on January 11, 1951. Lenore was a lifelong Thunder Bay resident. You may remember her smile over the years from her long time employment at the Waverley, where at one time she worked with 2 of her other sisters, Linda, and Leah, the Prosvita and elsewhere.
Lenore Ina Gaudreault took great pride in her extended family and the many nieces and nephews all over the country that she loved so much. A special note to her closest friends, her besties, Lillian Calder, Aileen McCloud, and Susan Kajmowicz who always took the time to visit and reach out when her health began to fail. Those visits, calls and texts lit up her days with much joy and happiness.
Left to mourn her are her loving husband, Marc-Andre (Marco), nephews Michael (Jenni), Great nephews Reese and Rory Ritchie, brother in-law Rick Dumas, Nephew Jake (Ty), great nephew and niece Gabriel, Sophia, and Zachary and Niece Katarina.
Kevin Halverson (Susan), Emily, Eric, Evan, great nephew Clifford. Ralph Halverson (Mary) Tyler, Erika and Dayna, great niece Emma.
Lenore is also survived by her nieces and nephews in Alberta. Don Halverson (Janice), Brody, Kourtney, great nephew Ethan, and great niece Ayla.
Lenore was predeceased by sisters Donna, Leah and Linda, her brother Kirk and parents Orville and Mary Ritchie.
Friends are invited to join the family on Saturday May 16th, 2026 at 3:00PM, at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 5, on 229 Van Norman St, to celebrate the life of this special lady.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a private ceremony held by family. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice.
