GAY, Lucy Gay

It is with deep sadness we announce Lucy’s passing, surrounded by her loving family on June 1st, 2025.

She was predeceased by her mother Doris Ironside, step-father Alex Ironside, brother Don Wilson, and dear nephew Shane. Lucy is survived by her devoted husband Tom, sons Robert (Rylee) and Michael, sisters Robin Cupolo and Debbie (Craig) Robinson, sisters-in-law Diane (Leo) McCarthy and Carol Gay, and brother-in-law James (Christine) Gay. She will also be dearly missed by many beloved nieces and nephews.

Lucy’s life was one of dedication, both as a loving mother and as a compassionate nurse. She served patients with care and commitment during her career at the Greater Niagara General Hospital (GNGH) until her retirement.

She also had a great love for her furry companions, Midnight, Coca, and Elliot, who brought her years of joy.

Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Niagara Falls Humane Society.
