After a long and adventurous life, Gerry Tetrault died on April 8, 2026, in Kelowna, British Columbia, at the age of 84.

Joseph Edward Gerald memory will be carried on by his beloved wife of 37 years, Sharon; his son Corey and daughter-in-law Beatrice; and son Mark; as well as six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers Alain and Ben; and sister Colete. He was pre-deceased by his parents Lionel and Lina; brother Claude and sister Suzette.

Born on August 2, 1941, in Manitoba, Gerry grew up and went to school in Red Lake, Ontario. It was here that he developed his sense of humor, which lasted a lifetime. He joined the military and enjoyed a 22-year career, retiring as Master Warrant Officer.   He was able to make lifelong friends there, whether through service or his time playing hockey or baseball on the military teams.

Outside of work, Gerry was an avid reader, sociable, and was knowledgeable on all manner of topics. A great evening for him was a family gathering or a game of cribbage or cards.

Gerry will be missed by all of us.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations in memory of Gerry may be sent to Huntington Society of Canada.
