GIBBONS, John Gibbons

Passed away peacefully at Brightshores Health System Southampton on September 6, 2025. Born in Guelph, Ontario on July 21, 1947, John James Gibbons of Allenford, was in his 79th year.
Beloved husband of Charmaine Gibbons (nee Dunk) of Allenford. Loving father of Stephen Gibbons (Lisa) of Markdale, David Gibbons (Mary) of West Lorne. Cherished grandpa of Brayden, Jillian, Caelan, Averie and Caleb. Dear brother of Carol Johnston (Bob), Susan Semple (Keith) and sister-in-law Linda Dunk. John will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.

John was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and fish. He took pride in caring for his family and tinkering in the garage.
In keeping with John’s wishes, cremation is taking place and a private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
