GILL, Donald Gordon Gill

Passed away peacefully on April 20, 2026, at St. Peter’s Hospital, at the age of 85.

Beloved husband of Mavis for 63 wonderful years, Donald Gordon Gill was a devoted and proud father to Wendy Burley, and a cherished grandfather to Zachary and Kyle, who brought him great joy. He is reunited with his parents, Gordon and Margaret, and his brother Wayne.

Don spent many dedicated years working at Dofasco, where he built lasting friendships and took great pride in his work. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, his steady presence, and the love he had for his family.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff at Hamilton General Hospital (8 South), St. Peter’s Hospital, and Dr. Sarah Kinzie for their care and kindness.

In keeping with Don’s wishes, cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke
