Garry James Gore

 In loving memory, we announce the passing of Garry James Gore on May 12, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on January 29, 1964, in Manchester, England, Garry is the cherished son of the late Dorothy Margaret Gore (Simms) and John Stanley Gore.

Garry’s charisma, sharp wit, and larger-than-life presence endeared him to all who knew him. He had a special connection with children, including the neighborhood kids and his great-nieces and great-nephews. As a Big Brother volunteer, he formed a lasting bond with his little brother, Noah.

A devoted MOPAR enthusiast, Garry’s love for cars was matched only by his talent for bringing people together. He was more than a friend—he was family to many, admired for his generosity, loyalty, and magnetic spirit.

Garry is survived by his father, Stan; his sister, Deborah; nieces Bridgit (Andrew) and Brenda (Larry); three great-nephews (Alexander, Max, Rex); a great-niece (Lily); another great-niece soon to arrive; and countless friends.
In honour of Garry’s commitment to community, the family kindly requests donations to Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Halton and Hamilton—details are provided below.

Garry’s radiant smile and warm, heartfelt hugs will forever remain in our hearts. His presence was a gift, and his legacy lives on in the stories, laughter, and love he shared.
