GRIFFITHS, Muriel Griffiths

A faithful servant of God and our beloved matriarch, Muriel Ann Griffiths (affectionately known as “Mama” by many), was called home to God on April 13, 2026. Muriel was born on June 29, 1938 in Whitby, Manchester, Jamaica.

Muriel Griffiths was a devoted wife to her husband Donald Griffiths until his passing in 1985. She took great pride in caring for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Her home was a place of warmth, laughter, and prayer. She leaves behind a legacy rooted in love, strength, and unwavering devotion, that will live on in each life she touched.

Muriel was a woman of deep faith, whose life reflected the strength and compassion of Christ. As the cornerstone of her family, she was a mother to many, a guiding presence, and a prayer warrior, whose home and heart was always open. Her love knew no bounds, and her care was a living testimony to the goodness of God.

In her presence, there was comfort; in her words, wisdom; and in her prayers, a powerful and constant source of strength. Though our hearts grieve her passing, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life, trusting that she now rests in the arms of her Savior.
