HAIST, Timothy David Haist

With sadness we announce the passing of Tim Haist at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton on Friday, March 6, 2026. Beloved husband to the late Linda (2023) and loving father to Ian (Jennifer) and Steven. Cherished Grandad to Kaitlyn. Tim leaves behind his siblings: Philip (Judy), Jim (Elena), and Sarah (Bill). Tim will be missed by all who loved him, but we take comfort knowing he is reunited with Linda.

Tim grew up in Fenwick and loved his home town, spending a lot of time on his Uncle Howard’s and Cecil’s farms. He loved to spend his free time fishing and restoring antique cars. He was also an avid card player, whether it was bridge or poker. Tim will be sadly missed by all of his friends and family who got to enjoy these hobbies with him.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Tim’s Life will take place at a later date.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
