HARDING, Shawn Harding

passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Shawn Harding was born on September 21, 1972, in Sarnia Ontario. Beloved husband of Kelly Harding for 28 years. Cherished father of Emily (Pedro), Elizabeth (Clayton), Ethan, Elijah, and Simele. Adored Papa to Aurora, Stella, Cohen, Eloise, and Gwen. He will be greatly missed by his parents, Peter and Betty Harding. Lovingly remembered by his siblings, Wes (Sue), Dan, Shannon (Bonnie) and Chantelle (Billy), as well as his Aunt Susan, Aunt Rose (Brian) and Uncle Bob (Muffie). Reunited with grandparents, Morris and Prima Hicks, and Daniel and Lilian Harding. Shawn was a devout father and grandfather. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, kindness, humour, and gentle spirit. He was a dedicated follower of Christ who walked with the Lord daily. He enjoyed vacationing with his family, and doing outdoor activities such as swimming, kayaking, going for walks, pickle ball, tennis, and biking. A celebration of life will take place this week for immediate family. As we mourn this deep loss, we take comfort in knowing Shawn has finished his race and has heard the words he lived for: ‘well done, good and faithful servant.’ Donations in memory of Shawn can be made to Cystic Fibrosis Canada (cheques only at the funeral home please).
