Predeceased by his Parents Howard Cecil Harris Sr and Evelyn Josephine (nee Sims). Loving husband of the late Arlene Harris (nee Ogrodnik) (2024)

Loving father to Kathryn Lafleur (Ken), the late Howard (Howie) Cecil Harris III (2022) and the late Jonathan Harris (2025). Cherished grandpa to Olivia and Kenny.

Dear brother to Leona Woods of Michigan, Sandra Nivens of Windsor, Ontario, Brenda Johnson of Michigan, the late Jane Adams (2025) and Erick (2025) of Michigan, and Susan Gooch of Windsor, Ontario. Brother in law to Mary Jane Lynch of Pembroke, Ontario, Nancy Reaume (Ray) of Tecumseh, Ontario and Denise Bergeron of Windsor, Ontario. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and family in Canada and the USA. Will be sadly missed by Jacqueline (Jackie) Harris.

Howard started his Tool and Die career with SKD, Amherstburg, ON and then worked his way up to management with different companies in Canada and the USA.

The patriarch of his family, Howard valued those he loved above all else. He took pride in and worked towards creating a positive image for the generations that followed. His humour, his stories, and his love will not be forgotten.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (South Chapel), 3048 Dougall Avenue (519-253-7236) on Friday, July 3, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery (Alma St, Amherstburg, ON N9V 2Y9)
