Donald Henderson

February 4, 1948 – June 4, 2025

Smiling person with glasses outdoors.

Don Henderson – Don passed away peacefully, with his loving family at his side on June 4th, 2025. Loving husband and best friend to Gail. Beloved father of Jim (Karen), Cathy (Todd), Kim (Gary), Ian (Alana), Melissa (Art), Diana (Dan) and stepfather to Mike (Julie) & Stephanie (Scott). Proud grandfather to seventeen grandchildren, Joshua (Samantha), Jesse, Amy, Conner, Kayla, Devon, Aidan, Parker, Jack, Maddie, Alexander, AJ, Madeline, Dylan, Harmony, Rylee and Aria, and one great grandson Matthew all of whom he loved dearly (and don’t you forget it!) He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

Don was born in Montreal on February 4th, 1948 and moved to Ajax in 1979. Don was a man of faith and was active in his church and singing in the choir. He joined Cub Scouts as a young boy and spent many years in Scouting eventually becoming a Scout leader as an adult, earning more than 25 years of service with the organization. He was a history buff and loved stamp collecting. He enjoyed spending time camping and travelling with Gail. In later years, puzzles became a new hobby he enjoyed.

Don’s family wish to thank the doctors and nurses at the Lakeridge Health, especially the ICU team. In lieu of flowers, donations to the All Saints Church-Community Centre in memory of Don would be appreciated.
