HENNINK, Henry William Hennink

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Henry Hennink at the Stedman Community Hospice in Brantford, Ontario on Friday May 8, 2026. Survived by his best friend and wife, Wil. Henry William Hennink was so proud of his 3 sons and their families: Mike (Meredith, Owen and Bronwyn), Matt (Holle, Owen and Cole) and Steve (Kelly, Reese and Avery). Survived by his brother Bill (Alice) Hennink, sisters, Mary Van Borek, Daisy (Mike) Puddock, brother-in-law John (Margaret) Seldentuis, sisters-in-law Hilda (John) Welfing, Ann (Henry) Fluit. Henry will be dearly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends and clients.

For nearly 40 years, Henry was the heart behind Hennink Construction. He didn’t just build homes β€” he built a reputation rooted in honesty, hard work, and doing things the right way, even when no one was watching. To us, he was so much more than a builder. He was a mentor, a teacher, and most importantly, a father and grandfather who led by example every single day. The lessons he passed down β€” in business and in life β€” are the foundation of who we are today. His influence lives on not only in the homes he built, but in the values, he instilled in our family and our company. We will carry his legacy forward in everything we do. He loved his church and being a part of the Restoration Project.

Friends will be welcomed at Paris Community Church, 164 Grand River St. North, Paris, Ontario on Saturday June 6, 2026, from 10 am to 11 am. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Joel Sherbino officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Henry’s memory to either the Paris Community Church or Stedman Community Hospice would be appreciated by his family.
