HENSEL, Klaus Albert Hensel

Died peacefully on Tuesday June 16, 2026 at the Sara Vista Care Community, Elmvale at the age of 94. Klaus of Wasaga Beach, beloved husband of Helga for almost 70 years. Loving and proud father of the late Norbert, Ralf (Tracy) and Claudia (Udo Mohr). Cherished grandfather of Isabel, Philip, Graydon (Janine), Parker (Taylor) and Carly and to great granddaughter Lilah. Of his seven siblings, Klaus Albert Hensel is survived by Hilde Germann, Dieter (Christine) and Erich (Doris) and his many nieces and nephews. Klaus was a man of curiosity and thoughtfulness. He had a great interest in his family history, he enjoyed music and playing the accordion, woodworking and photography. He enjoyed the camaraderie of the German Canadian Club Harmonie in Wasaga Beach and the Blue Ridge Sportsmen’s Club. He adored his family and cherished their accomplishments. A private graveside ceremony will be held at First Presbyterian Cemetery, Collingwood. If desired, a remembrance to the War Amps or the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
