HILDENBRANDT , Michael Adam Hildenbrandt

Hildenbrandt, Michael Adam unexpectedly passed on Sunday July 20, 2025 at the age of 75. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Eileen (2024). Son-in-law to Catharina. Cherished father to his children Lisa (Tony) and Scott. He was a proud and fun-loving Opa to his grandchildren Selina and Samantha, who will dearly miss him.

Though Mike was an only child, he had a large network of in-laws, family and friends, including his sister and brother-in-laws, Susan and Joe, and Brian and Julie, as well as nieces and nephews, Tessa, Jacob, Bruin, Olivia and Sawyer. Predeceased by his mother and father, Elsie and Michael.

Mike was born and raised in Jordan, where he worked the family grape farm from a young age. Most days you could find Mike out and about working in his shop or on the farm. He was always busy building or modifying something to make it work better for his specific purposes, and loved to design unique contraptions to do odd jobs, many of which weighed enough that it took several people to move it. Anything that was broken, Mike could fix it.

Mike met and married Eileen, the love of his life and his ‘co-pilot’ in 1979. They built a beautiful home together on his family farm where they worked together, along with his mother. The farm was always ‘the place to be’, and hardly a day went by when there wasn’t someone visiting, dropping in to see what was up or have a drink.

Though the last couple years included several health challenges for Mike, he continued to be interested in working on his projects and getting outside to enjoy the fresh air. Mike and Eileen loved to camp, especially with the grandchildren, where he could play ‘Go Fish’, share treats with them and show them how to use the ‘go-juice’ to get the campfire lit.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday July 23, 2025 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St., Vineland. Funeral will be Thursday July 24 at 11:00 AM at Tallman Funeral Home, followed by interment at Oaklawn Cemetery and a reception in the Fireside Room at Tallman Funeral Home.
