HOLCROFT, Helen (née Wright) – Peacefully entered into rest at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. Helen, in her 90th year, was the beloved wife of the late Eric Holcroft (2015).

She was a cherished mother to Heather, Dawn Lynn, and Carol, and a loving grandmother to Sean-Eric, Joseph James, Brent, and Kelly. Helen was also a proud great-grandmother to Jackson and Maddie. Dear sister to Cissie and the late Greta, she will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family in Scotland, and many dear friends.

A dedicated volunteer, Helen offered her time and spirit to the Catholic Women’s League, Ross Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, and the Academy Theatre. Her passion for curling brought her great joy through many years at the Lindsay Curling Club.

Visitation will be held at Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay on Wednesday, June 11th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 31 Russell Street East, Lindsay at 1:30 p.m. Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, with a Celebration of Life to follow at the funeral home.

Memorial donations to St. Mary’s Catholic Church – Restoration Fund would be appreciated by the family.
