It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Peter Daniel Holtz on August 9, 2025 at Brightshores Health System in Markdale at the age of 78. Beloved husband of June Blake. Loving father of Jen and Ken Richardson and Peter J. Holtz, both of Kitchener. Step-father to Jason Totzke of Kitchener. Grandfather of Quinn, Landry and Beckham Totzke. Loving brother of Robert and June Holtz and sister Sandra and Ed Miller. Treasured uncle of James and Jason Spencer.

Peter dedicated 40 years of service with JM Schneiders before retirement. He continued to work part-time, for 14 years, with Ontario Provincial Police Department. Peter’s special likes included darts, golf, fishing, motorcycles, and his pride and joy — his orange Triumph Spitfire.

The family extends special thanks to Home Care Support Services, and the exceptional care from the nursing team at Markdale Hospital. Cremation has taken place and, as per Peter’s request, no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Home Care Support Services – Day Away Program.
