HOSKIN, Norm Hoskin

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Norman John Hoskin on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at the age of 74.

Norm Hoskin is survived by his beloved wife, Heather (née Farquhar); his three children, Grant (Nicki), Eric (Katy), and Lisa (Aaron); and his stepson, Simon (Chelsie). He will be deeply missed by his six grandchildren, Abbi, Bella, Claire, Logan, Sebastian, and Caspian.

He will also be fondly remembered by his siblings Harold, Vera, Ruth, Keith, Loyd, and is predeceased by his siblings May and Jean.

A pilot who loved to fly, Norm found his greatest joy in time spent with his grandchildren. He was always ready to lend a hand and had a remarkable ability to build or invent whatever was needed. No challenge was too big or too small.

Norm will be remembered for his generosity, ingenuity, and his love of Kawartha Dairy ice cream.

A celebration of Norm’s life will be held at the Tyrone Community Hall on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 1:00–4:00 p.m.

A private graveside service will be held for family and close friends.
