HUBBARD, Susan Elizabeth Hubbard

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susan Hubbard, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Sue was the devoted wife of Clive Hubbard, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, partnership, and cherished memories. She was a proud and loving mother to Brianne (Ryan) and Tanya, and she adored being a Gramma to Peyton, Rory, Evan, Addison, Jordan, and Hunter. Her family was her greatest joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Throughout her career, Sue served her community as a 911 dispatcher, dedicating herself to helping others during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Her calm voice, compassion, professionalism, and commitment to public service made a lasting difference to countless people. She took great pride in her work and in being there for others when they needed help most. In retirement, Sue found joy in the simple things. She loved spending time in her garden and soaking up the sun in the pool. Susan Elizabeth Hubbard was also a devoted dog mom to her beloved Billie, whose companionship brought her comfort, laughter, and unconditional love. Sue will be remembered for her kindness, strength, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family and community. She had a warm heart, a caring spirit, and a remarkable ability to make others feel supported, welcomed, and loved.

Her legacy is one of service, compassion, family, and the countless lives she touched along the way. Though our hearts are broken by her loss, we take comfort in the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the memories she leaves behind.

Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Bluewater Health Foundation – ICU or Palliative Care (cheques only at the funeral home please).
