A resident of Erieau, Richard passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025 at his home at the age of 64.
He was the son of the late Henry & Rhea (nee Pepper) Hunter.
Dear brother of Lori-Lee Gill (Reid).
Loving uncle of Kyle (Zoey) & Tyler (Megan) Gill.
Missed by his cousins, Kim Hunter (Nene), Wayne Hunter (Annette), Dennis Hunter, Bobby Hunter, Tammy Hunter and Cindy Hunter.
In the earlier years, Richard worked proudly alongside Kim, and their fathers, with Hunter Bros. Bait Shop in Erieau. Recently, Richard has been working with A & A Marine in Tilbury. He enjoyed spending his time fishing, boating and being around water. Richard will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
As per Richard’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
