HUSKA, Terry Huska

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Terence William “Terry” Huska on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital, at the age of 70.

Beloved son of the late Walter and Marie “Bert” Huska. Terry will be deeply missed by his children: Stephanie Huska, Lyle Huska (Jan), and Lisa Mutch (Neil). Fondly remembered with love by Irene.

Terry is also survived by his brother Mark, sister Debbie, and was predeceased by his brother Bill. He will be remembered by his sister-in-law Lesia and son-in-law and dear friend Mo Hamza. He was a proud uncle to Adam, Natalie, Matthew (Tea), Cody, Shyam and Lela and great-uncle to Charlie, Benny, Cruz and Aja. He will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Terry was larger than life – truly the life of the party. Known for his quick wit and infectious sense of humor, he brought joy to every room he entered. For many years, he worked in various roles in the family business, Toronto Chromium Plating, where he learned valuable skills that led him to other successful endeavours including a long career in commercial real estate.

Terry had a passion for life. He loved sports, animals, gambling, travelling, and food – especially Dim Sum. But above all, he loved his family and cherished the time he spent with those he held dear.

He will be remembered with love, laughter, and lasting memories.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday September 7, 2025, from 2-4 p.m. with tributes at 3 p.m. at Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetes Canada in Terry’s memory.
