It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Heather Hutchinson on July 14, 2025, at the age of 78, peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital, with her beloved husband Marcel Gaudet by her side.

Heather was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Lillian, her younger sister Margaret Anne, and step-grandson Alexandre. She is survived by her loving siblings Lawrence (Sharon), Jacquelyn, Michael (Karel), and Cathy (Gregory Curtis), along with nieces and nephews Kevin, Ky, Graham, Kelsey, Andi, McKenna, Josh, and her husband Marcel’s daughters Sandy (Terry) and Tara (Guy) and their children Austin, Lucas, Samantha, Claudie, and Sharen.

Heather was born and raised on a farm in Oro and was a dedicated sister who took on the role of mother figure after the passing of their mother in 1963. She trained as a Respiratory Technician at Toronto General and worked across northern Ontario, making a lasting impact on those she served. Her passion for antique collecting, writing poetry, and genealogy was only matched by her love for her husband, Marcel.

A private service and cremation will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice are appreciated.
