She passed away peacefully on May 15, 2026, in the arms of her loved ones and surrounded by the love of her family.
Born to Fay and Mervyn Franswah, Cheryl lived a life grounded in compassion, strength, and devotion. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother, and a source of unwavering support and kindness to all who knew her.
Cheryl will be deeply missed by her loving brother Rudy, beloved daughters, Ruth, Charlotte, and Vania as well as her grandchildren, Marquis, Mikial, Khaleel, Anjalie and Elizabeth who were the pride and joy of her life. Her love, wisdom, and nurturing spirit will remain forever in their hearts.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, resilience, and family devotion that will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known her. Cheryl’s gentle spirit and caring nature touched many lives, and her memory will be treasured always.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Cheryl’s life and honor her memory in Barnes Memorial Funeral Home. Though she is gone from our sight, she will never be forgotten.
