Drusilla Romanovna “Susu” Ivanov

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our precious little Drusilla, “Susu” Romanovna Ivanov, who left us suddenly on October 18, 2024. Born at home on September 1, 2024, Susu came into this world surrounded by her loving family. She was perfect and calm, quickly forming bonds and bringing joy to everyone around her.
Drusilla blossomed from the start, recognizing her mother’s voice and finding comfort in being held close. She loved nature walks, family moments with her siblings Octavia (“Viva”) and Julius (“Juju”), and attended weekly Mass at St. Aloysius Parish in Thorold with her family. She was baptized on September 29, 2024, and now watches over her family as their little angel.
Susu’s memory lives on in the hearts of her parents, Roman and Alyssa Ivanov, her sister Octavia, her brother Julius, and her extended family. Though her time with us was brief, her life was filled with love and her presence was a true blessing.
Visitation will take place at George Darte Funeral Home (585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines, Ontario) on Thursday, October 24, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m., with Vigil Prayers held at 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. A Mass of the Angels will be celebrated on Friday, October 25, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius Church (317 Morton Street, Thorold South), followed by burial.
