Karau, Jim – passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, surrounded by his family on Friday, August 21, 2026 at the age of 72 years.
Jim Karau of Pembroke, beloved husband of 50 years to Ruth Karau (nee McMullen); and loving father of Adam, Ian & Sara. Son of the late Arthur & Clara Karau (nee Mau). Dear brother of Marilyn Provost (Dick), and brother-in-law to Isobel Watson (Barry) & Glen McMullen (late Penny); Jim is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.
Visitation will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 357 Miller St., Pembroke on Monday, August 31, 2026 from 9 a.m., until the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke. Arrangements entrusted to Neville Funeral Home, Pembroke. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
