JORDAN, Stephine Maryann Jordan
October 11, 1960 - April 20, 2026It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Stephine “Steppy” Maryann Jordan (née Boissoneau) on April 20, 2026, at ARCH Hospice, surrounded by the love of her family.
Predeceased by her parents, John “Bud” Boissoneau and Jean Hookey.
Stephine was the beloved wife of Donald Jordan Sr. and a deeply devoted and loving mother to Randy (Carley), Sandy, Christa (Jake), Arlene (Brad), Dawn (Steve), Shannon, and her late son, Boy (Donald Jr.), whom she carried in her heart every single day.
She was a cherished sister to Brenda, Diane, Sharon, Roxie, and Joseph (Gab), and was predeceased by her sister Bernadine.
Stephine was also a dear sister-in-law to Rose (Tom), Beatrice (Jimmy), Bernadine, John, Richard, and the late Cathy (Bob), Marjorie, Mary, Georgina, Elizabeth, Robert, and Edward.
She was a proud and deeply loving grandmother to Corey (Zoey), Alex, Elysia, Taylor, Steven, Raelynn, Dominik, Gina, Joanna (Seth), Madelaine, Alvin, Jocelyn, Jeorge, Sam, Izzy, Erin, Ryan, Dallas, Brook-Lynn, Madison, Abigail, Kassie, and Nala, and a great-grandmother to Eli and Violet. She was predeceased by her beloved granddaughter Zoe, who she now holds close once again.
Her family was her whole world. She loved fiercely, quietly, and endlessly — not always in grand gestures, but in the small, everyday moments that meant the most. In the way she listened, the way she showed up, and the way she made everyone feel safe, cared for, and deeply loved.
She will be lovingly remembered as a caring aunt to many nieces and nephews, each of whom she held close in her heart and loved as her own.
She will also be deeply missed by her dear friends, whose time, laughter, and companionship were a constant source of comfort and happiness to her.
Stephine found her greatest joy in life’s simplest moments. She loved yard sailing and the thrill of finding something special, playing online bingo from the comfort of her home, and sitting quietly on the back step, just taking in the world around her. She found peace in those still moments, and happiness in the little things. She loved ending her evenings watching her favorite shows, Everybody Loves Raymond and Becker, often laughing alongside those she loved — filling her home with warmth, comfort, and a sense of togetherness that will be deeply missed. It was in these simple, meaningful moments that her gentle spirit truly shone.
Stephine was the kind of person whose love never needed to be loud to be felt. It was steady, constant, and unwavering. She was a quiet comfort, a safe place, and a source of strength for so many. Her laughter could brighten even the darkest days, and her presence alone made everything feel a little bit lighter.
There are no words that can truly capture the space she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed, not just in the big moments, but in all the small, everyday ones — the quiet mornings, the shared laughter, the simple conversations. Though she is no longer with us, her love will never fade. It lives on in every memory, every story, and every heart she touched.
In the quiet moments, in the laughter we hold onto, and in the love she gave so freely, she will always be with us.
“I’m gonna love you forever,
forever and ever, Amen.”
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at ARCH Hospice for the exceptional care, kindness, and dignity they showed Stephanie. Your support brought comfort not only to her, but to all of us during such a difficult time, and it will never be forgotten.
